A fire has broken out at a former industrial site recently redeveloped into homes, cafes and bars.

Emergency services were called to Goods Yard in Glebe Street, Stoke-on-Trent at 08:04 BST after a fire broke out inside the bin stores.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was unknown at this stage, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said. The structure was pretty much destroyed.

A Stoke-on-Trent City Council spokesperson said the fire has been extinguished and "there was no wider fire involving the main development".
