Man critically hurt in stabbing in city centre
BBCA man has been critically injured after being stabbed in a city centre.
A 31-year-old man was found with stab wounds on Peter Street, in Deansgate, Manchester at about 03:40 BST, Greater Manchester Police said.
The force said it believed it was a "targeted attack" and no arrests had yet been made. Peter Street remains cordoned off by police.
Meanwhile in Trafford, a 21-year-old man has been stabbed during a "disturbance" involving "a group of men fighting" on Moorside Road in Flixton at about 23:30 on Saturday.
GMP said the man was taken to hospital with knife wounds and he is in a serious but stable condition.
The force appealed for any witnesses to either attack, or anyone with video footage to come forward.
