Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a father of two found stabbed in a pub car park.

Ayden Cooper, 25, died at the scene at the Beggars Bush pub, on Chester Road, in Sutton Coldfield, just before 02:00 BST on 11 October.

In a tribute, his family said he was "full of life and had a heart of gold".

Three men, aged 18 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of murder and remained in custody, police said.

Detectives have been reviewing hours of CCTV, as well as speaking to people at the scene, they added.

Det Ch Insp Samantha Lewis said: "These arrests are a significant development in our investigation, and we have updated Ayden's family and continue to support them.

"It's still vital that anyone who was in the area around the pub at the time, or who has any footage or information - no matter how insignificant it may seem - shares it with us."
