One of the country’s best-known jump racing duos has paid a visit to Wincanton primary school in Somerset.
Bryony Frost and horse Frodon, who train with Paul Nicholls at Ditcheat, were there as part of a drive to get more children interested in maths through racing.
The charity Racing to School, the Jockey Club and Wincanton Racecourse organised the event to help pupils understand imperial measurements, such as miles and furlongs.
The jockey said: "The children have been chanting Frodon's name. He loves the attention and takes it all in his stride."
In 2019, Bryony Frost made history aboard Frodon as she became the first female jockey to win a Grade One race at Cheltenham Festival.
A year later, Bryony made history again when she won the King George VI Chase, riding Frodon to victory at Kempton.
Bryony said she would look after Frodon when he retired from racing at the end of the season.
