A 30-year-old man has been charged with sharing terrorist material online.

Greater Manchester Police said Kristopher Humphreys, from Ambleside in Cumbria, has been charged with the dissemination of terrorist material.

He will appear at Westminster Magistrates Court later today.

The force said the charge was related to an ongoing investigation carried out by Counter Terrorism Policing North West.
