Fans asked to enjoy World Cup match 'responsibly'
Paul WilsonJersey Police are urging football fans to enjoy watching the England Norway World Cup match "responsibly" .
The force said it had "additional resourcing arrangements" for the game which starts at 22:00 BST at the Miami stadium and sees the teams compete for a place in the semi-finals.
It said officers would be on duty "to respond to incidents and provide a visible presence where needed".
A police spokesperson added: "We'd encourage anyone planning to watch the match in town to enjoy the occasion responsibly – look out for friends, respect licensed premises and staff, and plan ahead for getting home safely."
