Residents of flats in Luton face a night in temporary accommodation after a fire.

It started in a commercial building in Dunstable Road at 14:00 BST on Monday. Flats above the business were evacuated.

Bedfordshire Fire Service said the blaze had been put out quickly, but some residents would be unable to return to their homes in case there had been structural damage.

Police are at the scene. Waldeck Road will be closed overnight. A fire investigation is expected to begin on Tuesday morning.
