Watch: Unqualified driver failed to stop for police

An unqualified, uninsured driver who sped past a marked police car and failed to stop for officers has been given a suspended jail sentence.

Oltjan Mici, 26, of Tuns Lane, Slough, was spotted by officers driving a black Ford Focus dangerously through Slough and Windsor on 19 February.

He was found with cannabis and did not cooperate with police when they asked him to take a roadside test for drugs.

Mici was given a 48-week prison sentence, suspended for two years, and must complete 200 hours of unpaid work. He was banned from driving for two years and must complete an extended retest before he can drive.

He was told to pay £650 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £187 at Reading Magistrates' Court on 7 June.
