Which schools are helping pupils watch the World Cup?
ReutersWith many pubs set to open until 05:00 BST on Monday to allow football fans to watch England's World Cup clash with Mexico, several schools in the north-west of England had also pledged to relax the rules.
But the round-of-16 match in Mexico City, which was scheduled to kick off at 01:00 and was not expected to finish until at least 03:00, might be brought forward.
Fifa is understood to be bringing forward the game to 19:00 BST on Sunday, so little ones might not be so bleary eyed on Monday afterall.
England manager Thomas Tuchel had earlier urged parents to let their children stay up to watch the action, pointing out: "There's so much school to go to, but the World Cup is every four years - let them watch! We need the support of everyone, especially the children."
Schools had made contingency plans, including offering pupils later starts and some of those opening as normal promised to replay the match, and invited children to dress up.

It will be a non-uniform day too with children encouraged to dress in red, white, and blue.
St Edward's RC Primary School and St Barnabas CE Primary Academy, both in Darwen, said they would be replaying the match.
Holy Trinity VC CE Primary School in Darwen said it would have a "soft start" on Monday with children still receiving a full registration mark up until 10:30 "to give children and families the opportunity to watch the game if they wish".

Pupils at St James' Church of England High School in Farnworth were being offered a delayed start of 10:00. The school told parents it had "high standards for attendance" but also "recognised the opportunity for our students to watch the England match and celebrate with their families".
