The World Cup final is on Sunday at 20:00 BST

Tom Grennan's headline gig at Ludlow Castle will start earlier if England make the final of the World Cup.

If England beat Argentina on Wednesday in the semi-finals, they will face Spain or France in the final on Sunday at 20:00 BST.

Currently, gates for the event open at 17:00, with Grennan's gig scheduled to start later in the evening and finish at 22:30.

The venue said that the move would mean that ticket holders could stay and watch the match, with full details to be communicated to them following the semi-final.

"After 60 years of hurt, it's time to make some new memories with the Three Lions in Ludlow," it said.

On Sunday, the castle announced that it would be playing the semi-final using big screens and sound and lighting equipment already set up for the series of live concerts that will be happening there.

Grennan's gig follows Snow Patrol on 16 July and Human League on 18 July.

Also announced are The Streets on 23 July and Richard Ashcroft on 25 July.
