Prisoner pleads not guilty to murder
BBCA prisoner has pleaded not guilty to murder after an inmate was found dead in his cell.
Jonathan Alcide, of HMP Stoke Heath, appeared at Stafford Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
A man in his 40s was found dead at HMP Stoke Heath, near Market Drayton, at about 07:45 BST on 1 July last year.
Alcide is due to go on trial at Stafford Crown Court on 1 September.
