Police say the three men and a woman were arrested earlier in Huddersfield

Four people have been arrested in connection with an attack on a woman in Huddersfield.

West Yorkshire Police were called to Topaz Close at about 22:40 BST on 11 May and found a 30-year-old woman with neck and head injuries. She remains in hospital following the incident.

The force said a 35-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and two men, aged 33 and 35, were held on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. A woman, 38, was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Two 17-year-old boy who were arrested earlier this month on suspicion of attempted murder remain on police bail.

A force spokesperson said the arrests followed the execution of five warrants at homes in Huddersfield in the early hours of Thursday and the suspects remained in custody.

They said officers were still appealing for anyone who saw or has footage of the incident on 11 May to get in touch.
