Road closed following serious crash

A road in Derbyshire has been closed following a serious crash.

Derbyshire Police said on Friday that the A609 Belper Road was closed between the Kilburn crossroads and the crossroads at the Black Bulls Head in Openwoodgate.

The force added motorists were not able to access Belper Road from Killis Lane.

It advised motorists to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
