Rail services resume after Wickford derailment
PA MediaRail services between Southend Victoria and London Liverpool Street have resumed after a train derailed in Wickford earlier this month.
All services had been suspended since 14 August, when the London-bound train carrying 45 passengers partially came off the tracks.
In a social media post, Greater Anglia said journey times for some services were likely to be longer than usual while the timetable was reintroduced.
The Wickford to Southminster section will continue to run as a replacement bus service until Friday due to pre-planned engineering works.
