A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after reports of trouble, flares being thrown and fans clashing after a non-league football game.

Police said they were investigating the disorder in Dudley at Gornal Athletic FC on Saturday after the team's Midlands Football League Division One Playoff final with Sutton United, which Sutton won 2-1.

The trouble starting after the game ended, with flares thrown on to the playing areas and fans running on to the pitch, according to footage posted on X.

The 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and released on bail pending further inquiries.

West Midlands Police said it was reviewing footage to establish what offences took place.
