Section of TT course shuts for carriageway repairs
MANX SCENESA section of the Isle of Man TT course will shut for five days while carriageway repairs are carried out.
Lezayre Road between Ginger Hall and Glen Auldyn will close from 09:30 BST on Monday until no later than 15:30 on Friday, the Department of Infrastructure (DoI) said.
It said the sites that needed repairs "straddle the centre line of the road" which meant the normal running of traffic was "impracticable", so the closure would therefore be in force for all hours of the day during the period.
Line marking and TT preparations will also be carried out during the closure.
Access to and from properties within the closure will be maintained, but residents are being warned to expect delays.
There will be speed restrictions and local traffic management in force.
The department said diversions would be in place, with bus services following the diversion routes, but some school buses would be marshalled through for drop-offs and pick-ups.
