GoogleMotorists face major delays after the closure of a main route into Bristol.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the A4032 Newfoundland Way was shut in both directionsdue to a police-led incident between Bond Street and the M32.
Police, fire crews and highways officers were called at about 12:30 BST and traffic was diverted onto the A4320 Easton Way and Lower Ashley Road.
There is still congestion along multiple routes, including the M32, the Portway and Bath Road.
Elsewhere, there is congestion on the M5 near Bristol due to holiday traffic.
There are also long delays due an earlier collision on M4 Westbound from junction 19 for the M32 to junction 20 for the Almondsbury Interchange.
