The driver of a car died after he crashed into a house in Peterborough

A man has died in hospital after the car he was driving crashed into a house earlier this month.

The 40-year-old, from Peterborough, was driving a blue Ford Mondeo along Paston Ridings in the city at about 18:00 BST on 17 May when it hit stationary vehicles and then the building.

Cambridgeshire Police said the man died on Sunday.

A man and a woman in their 70s were also taken to hospital with serious injuries. The man has since been released and the woman is still receiving treatment for serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

Officers have appealed for information or camera footage from anyone who may have seen the vehicle before the crash or witnessed the collision.
