Thick black plumes of smoke coming from the former Henley College building could be seen for miles

Four teenagers have been charged with arson after a serious fire at a former college in Coventry.

Plumes of thick black smoke could be seen from miles away after the blaze broke out at the former Henley College building on Henley Road, causing extensive damage.

Two 15-year-old boys and two girls, both aged 16, have all been charged, after the fire on 29 April last year, West Midlands Police confirmed.

All four are due to appear before Coventry Magistrates' Court on 4 June.
