Police appeal after man dies following car crash

Police are appealing for information after a man in his 70s died in hospital following a car crash.

The collision happened on the B1363 York Road, close to the village of Sutton-on-the-Forest, near York, on 12 August, according to North Yorkshire Police.

The force said the man suffered minor injures when the red Vauxhall Astra he was driving collided with a silver Audi at about 15:15 BST and was taken to hospital where he later died

Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
