Bus changes as road prepares for resurfacing

Buses will be diverted via a different route

There will be changes to bus services in Shropshire, ahead of road resurfacing works.

The A495 from Ellesmere to Whittington will be closed from 09:30 BST to 16:00 BST on Wednesday and Thursday, for stud removal, ahead of the road being surface dressed next month, Shropshire Council said.

On these days the Lakeside 449 Oswestry to Ellesmere bus service will be diverted via St Martins.

From Ellesmere, buses will run via St. Martins instead of Welsh Frankton, at 10:00, 11:00, 13:00 and 14:00 and from Oswestry they will run via St. Martins instead of Welsh Frankton, at 09:30, 10:30, 11:30, 13:30 and 14:30.
