A man has died the day after a two-vehicle collision in Sheffield.

The 32-year-old died after suffering serious head injuries when the black Porsche Cayenne he was travelling in collided with a Seat Ibiza in Savile Street East at 22:40 BST on Friday.

The Seat driver and a passenger suffered minor injuries and were assisting officers with their inquiries, South Yorkshire Police said.

A 26-year-old man, who was also in the Porsche, suffered serious head injuries and remained in hospital in a stable condition, a police spokesperson added.

Anyone with information or footage of the incident or the vehicles prior to the collision has been asked to contact South Yorkshire Police.
