William watches Wales win their first game in three years
ReutersThe Prince of Wales cheered on Wales at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff as they beat Italy 31-17 in the Six Nations.
Wales, who had looked set to finish with the tournament's wooden spoon after losing their first four games, secured their first victory against Italy since 2023.
Prince William is patron of the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) and has regularly attended both the men's and women's fixtures.
Last year, the Prince and Princess of Wales cheered on opposing sides at the Six Nations game between Wales and England.

The couple have previously joked about supporting different teams during the tournament, with the prince supporting Wales and Catherine rooting for England.
In 2023, the prince remarked that it would be a "tense journey home" with his wife after a Six Nations game between the two countries in Cardiff.
Wales have not won a Six Nations game since beating Italy in March 2023, a losing streak that stretches to 15 games despite a determined display against Ireland last week.
Italy meanwhile will travel to the Principality Stadium in high spirits after a historic first win against England in Rome last Saturday.
