Watch: Firefighters battle field blaze 'in intense heat'

More than 40 firefighters have battled a blaze in a field.

Crews from eight stations were called at about 14:00 BST on Wednesday to land off Southleigh Road in Havant, Hampshire.

Firefighters worked "in intense heat" to control the fire which spread across 15 acres (six hectares), Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said.

The service urged people to leave barbecues at home and extinguish cigarettes properly due to the current high risk of wildfires.
