Under 10s:Kirkham Juniors 0-0 Lytham Juniors “A” In Kirkham’s last game of the season, they shared the points in an exciting game with some great football played by both teams. Matt M, David P and Daniel S controlled the game as the first half ended goalless. Both teams worked hard and kept pressing forward to try and snatch a late winner
David P came in at short notice to the centre back position and was man of the match. Kirkham Juniors 1-0 Lytham Juniors “B” Centre back, James P, played in goal and pulled off some great saves as Kirkham dominated this game and looked comfortable through out. Bobby B, Bradley W and Ritchie H stopped Lytham going forward, while Charlie C, Elliot S and Callum F pushed Kirkham into the Lytham half at every opportunity. During one of these second half attacks, Daniel R slipped the ball under the Lytham Keeper to score the decisive goal. Man of the Match : Elliot S, for another outstanding display. ----Under 15s:YMCA 2-5 Kirkham JuniorsThis was a game of two halves; YMCA went 2-0 up at half time after Kirkham’s lacklustre start. In the second half, captain Danny M led Kirkham’s inspired come back with a powerful determined run past four YMCA players before rifling the ball into the back of the net.
