Under 9s:JFC Kirkham 1-1 Blackpool Rangers “A”Benedict LS gave Kirkham an early lead with a fantastic shot, and Kirkham dominated the first half. With Keelan L making some great saves, Kirkham tired in the second half, allowing Rangers to score a last-minute equaliser. Man of the Match goes to Lewis BW. JFC Kirkham 0-4 Blackpool Rangers “B”Kirkham were unlucky not to score in the first half, but a lack of concentration in the second half allowed Rangers to score four times. Under 9s:Kirkham Juniors 0-0 Lytham Juniors “A”Despite the disruption of an early injury to Matty N, Kirkham ‘A’ dominated an excellent match against a Lytham team that had won all of its previous games. The Lytham keeper saved his team time after time, with notable efforts by Adam D, Tom G, Tom J, and Conor Mc. As usual Will H, Brody C and a Man Of The Match performance by Lewis M kept the Kirkham goal secure. Kirkham Juniors 1-7 Lytham Juniors “B”Weakened by injury and illness to key players, Kirkham never recovered from a disastrous start, being 3-0 down inside 5 minutes, to an excellent Lytham team. Typical of their determination, they never gave up, with Sam M, Liam O’F & Jamie S, all giving 100%. James B scored the consolation goal in the second half. Under 10s:Lytham Juniors 0-0 Kirkham Juniors “A”An exciting first half ended goalless with James P stopping most of the Lytham attacks. Richie H was Man of the Match as he worked hard with James to keep a deserved clean sheet in the second half against a strong Lytham side. An excellent performance by the whole Kirkham team. Lytham Juniors 1-1 Kirkham Juniors “B”Good performances from David P and Kyle F helped Kirkham control the first half, but a Lytham break saw them grab the opening goal. The second half was almost one-way traffic with Kirkham producing an excellent performance to dominate, and Declan C popped up to score the equaliser. Kirkham maintained the pressure, but the match finished 1 –1 with Lytham hanging on for the draw. Man of the Match was Declan C for a well taken goal and good all round performance. Under 15s:Kirkham Juniors 6-1 Poulton YouthKirkham put on a fine display and took an early lead with Carl S placing the ball home.
Craig B (2), Danny M, Matt R made it 5-0 at half time. Craig B completed his hat trick with a header from a Danny M cross.
