Leaders Boreham Wood hit back from a goal down to beat Harrogate 4-1 and continue their impressive unbeaten start to the National League season.

The visitors started strongly and led after nine minutes when Bailey Hobson finished well for his second goal of the season.

However, Boreham Wood equalised 12 minutes later through Tarryn Allarakhia, who kept his composure to score his first league goal for the club since joining from Rochdale.

On-loan Salford player Jay Bird earnt his side a penalty which Zak Brunt dispatched confidently just before half time and 11 minutes after the restart it was 3-1 when Bird headed home at the near post.

Substitute Ben Whitfield ended any doubts about the outcome when he struck a volley into the top left corner to make it 4-1 after 66 minutes, before a good day for the hosts was slightly marred by Regan Booty's 80th-minute dismissal.
