John Marquis scored a second-half hat-trick, including two penalties, as Woking won convincingly at Carlisle United.

The Cardinals took the lead in the seventh minute at Brunton Park when Shadrach Ogie headed in a cross from Jaiden Putman.

The home side, though, were back on level terms just two minutes later when Woking defender diverted a long throw-in from Carlisle into the net for an own goal.

Matt Ward's 18-yard effort had Woking back in front early in the second half, before Marquis fired in a third goal for the visitors after 55 minutes.

Marquis then rolled in a penalty in the 68th minute before completing his treble from the spot with nine minutes left. Regan Linney then hit a late consolation for Carlisle, who slipped to a third defeat from five league games.
