Barrow snatched their first point of the season with an equaliser six minutes into stoppage time to deny Harrogate victory in the National League.
After a 15-minute delay to kick-off, the hosts took the lead after 15 minutes through Ethan Bristow, who finished after a fine run forwards.
But Barrow, like their opponents relegated from League Two last season, levelled 10 minutes before the break as George Walker squared the ball into the box and Harrogate defender Cathal Heffernan could only divert it into his own goal.
In the 85th minute Heffernan made up for the mistake as he volleyed home what looked set to be the winner via a post, but Barrow denied their hosts a third straight victory at the death, with Innes Cameron scoring in the last minute of added time.
