Snaresbrook Crown Court for UK don confam say Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Pascal Odinaka aka Poco Lee go appear bifor dem for plea and trial preparation on Tuesday, 15 September 2026.

According to di statement wey BBC News Pidgin receive from di court, Poco Lee dey face some charges and e go get im day for court for September.

Dis dey come afta tori bin dey fly around social media say di entertainer dey for custody of di UK authorities for allegations wey dem sama am.

Meanwhile, one Nigerian diasporan wey dey live for UK, Benjamin Kuti, bin earlier confam on X say Poco Lee dey for UK authorities custody.

"Im next court date dey scheduled for di second week of September, wen e dey expected to get plea hearing. At dis hearing, e go typically enta plea of either guilty, meaning e admits to di offence, or not guilty, meaning e denies di offence," e tok.

Kuti say e go also attend di court proceedings as part of im support for di Nigerian community for UK, to "ensure say our fellow Nigerian receive di appropriate support during dis difficult period of im life".
