Prosecutor Marc DiGiacomo argue during Tuesday sentencing hearing say Davis spend years dey publicly brag about im role for di Shakur death, wey e tok say get "wide-ranging effects upon di world".

Shakur sister, Sekyiwa Shakur, tell di court: "Di loss of Tupac, for a long time, cripple my family."

"E bin get so much promise, intentions for beta world," Sekyiwa tok and add say her brother bin hope to help im local community.

Sekyiwa Shakur bin ask di judge to give Davis di maximum sentence, and tell Davis say e go sit for prison and tink about "wetin e don do to di world, not just to me".

Shakur brother, Maurice Shakur, also address di court, and ask di judge for "di longest possible sentence".

Judge Carli Kierny ask Davis if e get anytin to say, and e reply: "I dey. I go appeal dis case for sure."

Bifor e give im judgement, Kierny tell am: "You no fit take pesin from im family.

"You no fit take im veri life, im whole future from am, and just waka away from am. Especially wen dat man na Tupac Shakur. Di world neva forget about am and im death."

Di key evidence for di case na Davis own words, wia e repeatedly and publicly acknowledge say e bin dey inside di white Cadillac from wia di deadly shots bin dey fired.

In exchange say dem go block any criminal prosecution against am, e tell authorities about im role for Shakur death during one secret 2008 police interview wey relate to di death of fellow rapper Notorious B.I.G., real name Christopher Wallace, wey dem kpai for one shooting just months afta Shakur.

Davis elaborate further on im role for im 2019 memoir, Compton Street Legend, wey lead to publicity and media interviews.

Protective agreement wey im bin establish wit authorities bin make am impossible to file criminal charge, but di book and interviews wey im do on im role for Shakur killing make dat agreement invalid. One judge den allow im police interview to dey used for di murder trial against am.

Shakur na 25 years old for di height of im career as one of rap most influential voices at di time of im death. E bin sell more dan 75 million records worldwide.

For three decades, di investigation into im killing remain one of America most famous cold cases, wey bring countless conspiracies - until di conviction of Davis last month.

Throughout di trial, Davis defence team try to persuade jurors say im comments na fiction - bravado and exaggeration wey im bin wan use sell books and make money.

Prosecutors argue say although Davis, wey be former leader of di South Side Compton Crips street gang, no fire di gun, e bin order di shooting and supply di gun wey im nephew Orlando Anderson use to open fire.

Anderson die for one unrelated shooting for 1998, afta e deny involvement for di killing of Shakur.
