The sun is shining, the skies are blue and I'm wearing my groovy flared trousers, flowery shirt and stack heels - just the outfit for the beach. Oh yes, did I mention the thick, dark hair? Just like yesterday...It's amazing how your past can catch up with you. It was August, 1975 and the venue for our works outing was Great Yarmouth. The photograph found it's way to Planet Ray anonymously in a plain brown envelope. ![]() Don't use the socket over your cooker! Yet to come: Photos of the infamous newspaper cutting of producer Alison in her primary school days stood outside 10 Downing Street and voice of the news, Claire, as a Silly Cow - at the seaside! Take our leadAlison had a visit to Broomfield Hospital at the weekend after a really nasty accident. She had left her vacuum cleaner plugged in the socket over the cooker. Then, with the lead still plugged-in, she boiled some water on the hob - the lead was pulled and the saucepan tipped boiling water over Alison's foot and splashed her forehead. ![]() How long will that wonky wheel last? It would seem that loads of us still have a plug socket over our cooker. Take our advice - don't use that plug socket! A bit early for SpringI'm willing the warmer, milder and brighter weather to arrive. So this week I've been out on my bike and started up my racing barrow for a first visit of the year to the allotment. I think the weather needs to improve just a little before a repeat of either exercise. ![]() Natalie gets down to business Natalie to the rescueWhisper the words - Health and Safety.
