Jumbo Freezes

Ray Clark Breakfast Show listener Tony travels daily from Braintree to Colchester and spotted a really cool elephant at the garden centre in Marks Tey.

This was the easy bit!

Tony always has his camera with him as he drives around the county. If you see anything that's a little unusual in our county we'd always like to see it - or hear about it.

Splodge Away

Regular listeners to Planet Ray might remember a little confusion at the start of last year's Maldon Mud Race when the countdown to start a Mexican Wave was confused with the signal to start the race proper. So, this year they didn't ask me to start it - just to announce the winners and encourage the losers!

Ho, Ho, Ho! - and he's still smiling

Thousands turned out to watch and, with all the proceeds going to various charities, a lot of good was done by the few, 250 of them, who took part.

My colleague Paul Joslin from bbc.co.uk/essex was there too - but taking photographs, not running.

I did it once - never again though!
