Autumn Leaves

The Ray Clark Breakfast Show celebrates autumn and the school half term as the leaves start to fall. All those beautiful colours are there to see: Red, gold, brown - and pink, yes pink, it's the latest colour in street markings in the County Town.

Pink Lines

Planet Ray listener, Jonathan told us of the latest 'must have' addition to a road near you: Double Pink Lines. I went off in search for them, and it's true - Cromar Road on the Waterhouse Trading Estate in Chelmsford has white lines, yellow lines - and pink lines!

Pink road markings

So what colour are they?

We checked with the County Council. "Don't think it's our road" they said, and assuming that the pink lines were meant to be red the council didn't think the no waiting order was enforceable - but they do seem to work. No one ever parks on them.

Dancing latest

The pressure is on, just three more Sundays to go until the Dancers in Need event at The Shire Hall, so that means just 3 more hours to polish up my dancing steps in time for the competition.

The thought of learning to dance is already scary enough, but in front of 300 paying listeners - I'm petrified.

Simply Ballroom

This is NOT Ray, sadly

Remember to look up, smile - but not too much, straight back, polished shoes - and I thought it was supposed to be fun

Half Term Hols

Planet Ray hands over to Wyatt's World for one week. Ian Wyatt takes care of business while I return to the land of normal people, those who don't get up at 3.45am. If you're on holiday with the kids or Grandchildren - Enjoy!

The story 'wot' you write

It's a 'Roll over week' with our story. Started by Jean's husband, continued by Kristal and The Story Lady and even featuring the real Steve Kent, who's name by coincidence appears in the story itself.

Note from Planet Ray HQ: Any resemblance with anyone living or dead is pure coincidence. No animals were harmed in creating this story.

Have a great week...
