Aoife Colvill, who signed for Hibs this summer, scored four goals on her debut
Hibernian started the new SWPL campaign with a convincing 7-0 win over Motherwell, as summer signing Aoife Colvill scored four of their goals.
The Edinburgh side lost a raft of influential players in the summer, including their joint top league scorers Kathleen McGovern and Eilidh Adams, but the club look to have recruited well, and it was another new face who got them off the mark.
Ukrainian international Yuliia Khrystiuk opened the scoring, and then assisted Colvill for their second.
Colvill joined Hibs in the summer from Standard Liege, but knows the league well from her spell with Glasgow City and made it 2-0 at the break.
17-year-old Jessica Ramsay put Hibs further ahead of the hour mark with her first senior goal for the club.
Colville then bagged another three goals including one from the spot, while captain Rachael Boyle also got in onto act to help the club to a big opening day win.
