Forest Green finished the regular National League season in style with an emphatic 5-0 victory over relegated Morecambe.

Rovers needed just 13 minutes to open the scoring through Jili Buyabu, who shrugged off his marker inside the box before planting the ball into the far bottom corner.

And the lead was doubled 10 minutes later when the home side were awarded a penalty which was tucked away by Kyle McAllister for his 19th goal of the season.

Rovers dominance continued after the break and substitute Gabe Kircough made it 3-0 in the 56th minute with a header from Jayden Clarke's cross, just two minutes after coming off the bench.

Ricardo Rees then wrapped up a one-sided victory with two goals in five minutes, first heading home a Tre Pemberton delivery before adding another on the rebound after Morecambe goalkeeper Myles Boney had turned away a shot from distance by Tom Knowles.
