Nancy Xu

Since joining the Strictly family in 2019, Nancy Xu has brought fierce Latin moves and plenty of energy to the Ballroom!

A specialist in Latin, Nancy was a finalist in the Under 21 World Championships in 2010, took third place in the 2010–2012 CBDF National Amateur Latin Championships and was runner-up at the 2013 International Singapore Championship.

But that’s not all! Nancy was also a finalist on So You Think You Can Dance in China and starred in the West End and Broadway dance show Burn The Floor before making her way to Strictly.

In 2021, Nancy took to the Strictly dancefloor with her first celebrity partner, CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson, and the pair danced all the way to the Semi-Final. She came close to the Grand Final once again in 2022 alongside actor Will Mellor, before partnering comedian and presenter Les Dennis in 2023.

Nancy returned to the competition in 2024 with singer and actor Shayne Ward. The pair danced their way to Week Eight, narrowly missing out on a trip to the iconic Blackpool Ballroom.

In 2025, Nancy continued to bring her incredible talent to Strictly as part of the professional line-up, dazzling in the show’s group numbers and Pro routines.

Now back for another series, Nancy is ready to bring her fierce footwork, fabulous energy and plenty of Latin flair to the Strictly Ballroom once again!
