Julian Caillon

All the way from Australia, Julian Caillon joined the Strictly family in 2025 – and certainly made his mark during his debut series!

Julian started dancing at the age of 10, specialising in Ballroom and Latin American before going on to represent Australia on the international stage. No stranger to the small screen, he appeared as a Professional Dancer on three seasons of Australia’s Dancing With The Stars and competed on So You Think You Can Dance Australia.

Julian has also toured the globe with hit dance show Burn The Floor and, even before joining Strictly, had already experienced the magic of dancing at the world-famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

And dancing isn’t his only talent! Julian has a degree in Exercise Physiology from UNSW Sydney and has worked as both a Personal Trainer and Exercise Physiologist. A keen athlete, he even completed two triathlons in 2025.

Julian made his Strictly debut in 2025 alongside EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal. The pair enjoyed an incredible first series together, dancing all the way to the Semi-Final and narrowly missing out on a place in the Grand Final.

Now with his first Strictly series under his belt, Julian is back and ready to bring his Aussie energy, athleticism and dazzling moves to the Ballroom once again!
