FCT Minister Nyesom Wike son say im no collect $2.1m from businessman ova Abuja land deal

Di social media for Nigeria don dey buzz sake of one $2.1 million court mata wey allegedly involve Jordan Wike, son of di Minister of di Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
Jordan Wike na also lawyer like im papa and mama, and recently e dey always appear by Minister Wike side for almost evri public gathering.
According to court documents wey BBC News Pidgin see, na one man wey im name na Safwan Garba, wey also be lawyer and businessman, and im company, G.Y. Global Oil & Gas Nigeria Limited, na dem carry di mata go court dey claim say im and Jordan Wike bin enta agreement to do joinbodi real estate business.
Garba claim say for di agreement, im part na to provide di sum of 2.1 million dollars while di role wey Wike go play na to facilitate hectares of land for di Katampe and Guzape areas of Abuja for di project.
However, Garba claim say afta e give Jordan di $2.1 million in cash, di Minister son no come fulfil im part of di agreement, and wen im (Garba) ask am to give am back im moni, Jordan allegedly block im contacts.
Jordan plead not guilty to all di accuse and di mata dey go on now bifor Justice Sylvanus Oriji of di FCT High Court, Maitama Abuja.
Di FCT Minister son say dem forge im signature on di contract document.
Safwan Garba and im company - G.Y. Global Oil & Gas Nigeria Limited - ask di court to give order:
- Make di defendant - Jordan Wike - pay am back di $2.1 million wey e bin give am for di failed joinbodi business
- Of 10% interest on top di money, starting from di date of di judgement until di defendant pay di $2.1 million finish
- Make di defendant pay am back di cost of filing di court mata and also di legal cost
- Make di defendant pay am general damages of 100 million naira, for di "trauma and psychological imbalance" wey e put am tru by denying say e receive di money from am.
Jordan Wike plead not guilty to all di accuse as e tok say im no know who Safwan Garba be and e no receive any moni from am.
Di judge adjourn di case to December 1, 2026.
