Tonight, the Isles will start cloudy with spells of rain, becoming much patchier later. The mainland will see cloud break up across the south, while the north stays cloudy with the odd spot of rain.

Tomorrow will be generally cloudy and dry, with occasional sunny spells developing at time on the Isles and the mainland, particularly in the afternoon. Just the odd shower about in spots.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday

Sunday will start mostly cloudy and dry. In the afternoon, a band of showers will move into the mainland from the west. Monday is expected to be unsettled with a band of showery rain moving across Orkney and the mainland, reaching Shetland by the evening. Tuesday looks to see a few showers around to start, before it turns drier later on with sunshine. Breezy on the Isles.
