It's almost time to bring this live text to a close, folks.

Manchester City are back at the top of the table for the first time since mid-August.

    But for how long?

I'll leave you with tonight's highlights.

  3. 'Man City will be kicking themselves'published at 23:12 BST

The win is of course the most important thing, but with the situation Burnley are in, could you score four or five?

Manchester City had their chances that they didn't take, but I also think Burnley were probably a bit better than they thought they'd be. They defended well and were good in transition.

City will be kicking themselves. Of course they are going to say to us that the win is the most important, but because of the goal difference - which it could potentially go down to - they will be kicking themselves.

  4. 'Arsenal won't be as wasteful as Man City'published at 23:11 BST

Not many Arsenal players would have expected Burnley to get a result today, but if you are an Arsenal player or fan, you would take a 1-0 loss for Burnley. Arsenal play Burnley in a few weeks and they will probably not be as wasteful with their chances as City with so much on the line. Before you know it City are chasing Arsenal.

I don't think psychologically it matters that much. Now they have played each other, there is no longer this talk about the title decider in April. You have your five games, they have their five games. If you do well enough and win your games, the league title could very much be Arsenal's. They have to back themselves. The fact this only finished 1-0 to City when they had 28 chances, maybe this is the boost they need to turn their form around.

  5. 'We've fallen a little bit short'published at 23:08 BST

    FT: Burnley 0-1 Man City

    Burnley

Burnley boss Scott Parker, speaking to Sky Sports, about the club's relegation: "We've had an understanding that the inevitable was getting closer. The curtain has come down now. We failed and we have fallen a little bit short. I can't be critical of this team.

"This team have been hugely competitive and given us everything. You can fault us and be critical in certain moments when we have lacked quality. We have not managed to get enough points but tonight performance represents what we are.

"These players have come in every single day with a humongous challenge and we have fallen short. We needed to overachieve and we have not managed to do that."

On what he does next: "You're on a treadmill at this moment in time and fully engaged, trying desperately to get results and give the best version of yourself. There are four games left. We need to learn from our mistakes as a football club and move from there. Regarding myself, we have given everything and sacrificed a lot of things."

Manchester City goalscorer Erling Haaland, speaking to Sky Sports: "We had a lot of chances but I am just happy we won. That is the most important thing. Nothing else, we just try and win.

"Now we focus on Saturday. We keep going, try to win and then it's Everton next [in the Premier League].

"One-nil is amazing, I am super happy. I don't know why you keep asking me about that [the scoreline]. We win, we get three points, we are top of the league."

  7. 'We will reflect and come back stronger'published at 23:04 BST

Burnley boss Scott Parker, speaking to BBC Match of the Day after his team's relegation: "Overall I think the performance tonight speaks volumes of us as a group. The inevitable was there, but I am proud of the players, we just fell a bit short. Playing against Manchester City, you're going to have few opportunities - in fact we probably had quite a few. Overall a brilliant performance and for that I am immensely proud.

"I thought the stadium was brilliant tonight. It has been mixed at certain moments and I get the frustration, but we left everything on the pitch tonight. I said that to the group tonight; the paying spectators want to see that and we did that to a tee."

On the future: "The club has had to [bounce back] over the last few years. There is a lot of learning to do and that is exaclty what we'll do, we'll reflect on where we've fallen short. We need to work out where we've gone wrong and come back stronger next year."

If the club want to keep you, will you stay? "It's been a relentless season for everyone, me included. We [he and the board] will sit down and reflect, work out where we move forward and go from there."

  8. 'You can't be fixated on goal difference'published at 23:02 BST

You can't become fixated on goal difference and I don't think Manchester City came across that way today in the way they played.

They did have chances in the first half where they could have got some early goals on the board but they are very process-driven, similar to Arsenal. That is not going to change now that it might come down to goal difference.

  9. 'I came here with a dream to keep this club up'published at 23:00 BST

Burnley defender Kyle Walker, speaking to Sky Sports, after the club's relegation: "It was a disappointing evening. I am a player for Burnley and I will do my best for the shirt to make sure we get a result. Unfortunately now we are relegated but we need to play the remaining games with that level of performance.

"What this club means to this town is incredible. I drive through it every day. It means a lot to them. From us to them, thank you for every bit of support this season and hopefully we can do you proud next season.

"I came here with a dream to keep this club up. I achieved a lot personally but this would have been right up there. It would have been very special to keep this club up.

"This is people's dreams that have now come to an end in the Premier League. They need to use this fire to make sure we are back here next season."

  10. 'I'm confident Leeds will stay up' - Farkepublished at 22:57 BST

    FT: Bournemouth 2-2 Leeds

    Leeds United

Leeds boss Daniel Farke, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I am experienced long enough in this world, we will celebrate when it's mathematically done. It's too early. We are on 40 points, seven game unbeaten in all competitions, so I am confident. Why should we lose the last four games?"

  11. Are Leeds safe?published at 22:55 BST

Leeds United's late equaliser was timed at 96 minutes and five seconds.

They now have 40 points - nine points more than relegation-threatened Tottenham, who have one game in hand.

Leeds boss Daniel Farke, speaking to Sky Sports: "I am just proud of my boys because we have lost lots of energy in the last couple of weeks and today was one of fight, mentality, belief and fighting until the end.

"In our home game we were the better side and we conceded a late equaliser, today it was the other way around. Bournemouth were on it today, it's Andoni [Iraola] last games and I expected an emotional home side and I think they were the better side but we found a way to fight against all the setbacks. Priceless for us and very proud of the boys."

On the late goal: "We never stopped believing. We always back ourselves to score a goal, even in the final seconds of the game."

On avoiding relegation: "I've experienced long enough in this business so we will celebrate when it's mathematically done but I am confident. We will celebrate when there is something to celebrate. We will keep our foot on the gas."

On Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea: "We are definitely not the favourites but from tomorrow we will concentrate, but today I am just happy we travel away with a priceless point."

On Liam Rosenior's sacking: "I have not thought one second about it but I see a squad full of potential and unbelievable talent. It's no coincidence in the summer they won the Club World Cup. When the team is on it, it can be a very dangerous team. We are the underdog but it's a situation we know from the league and we want to deliver in the best possible manner."

  13. Have Man City won the psychological battle?published at 22:48 BST

    FT: Burnley 0-1 Man City

    Micah Richards
Former Man City defender on Sky Sports

If Manchester City could come in to this game and make it equal [on points], I believed Manchester City would win the title because of the psychological battle, because they have leaders and experience.

When I was in the title race [with Manchester City in 2012], I had to draw off the top players within my squad who had won before, I could rely on them. When I look at Arsenal, they have great talent but who could they turn to when you need to get through this? That is what Manchester City seem to do.

Stoggs: Have to give credit to Bournemouth, they are playing well on a limited budget & they still are challenging for a European place. That said it was a very good point for my team Leeds & is a confidence booster for the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.

  15. 'Takes away two points in decisive moment of season'published at 22:43 BST

    FT: Bournemouth 2-2 Leeds

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "We are very frustrated, very angry. To concede in 96th moment, I think it's a clear offside. [Joel] Piroe affects the keeper, he's at the side where the ball goes in. It's not acceptable, I am waiting to talk to the referee, I hope he explains it to me but we've lost two points in the last second of the game with a player offside affecting our keeper.

"He hasn't had the chance to go and dive or to see the position, the trajectory of the ball. It has affects [Djordje] Petrovic and the same way it's offside for Evanilson, he's one millimetre, but we have to accept. This is the same. It affects Petrovic.

"It takes two points that are decisive in this moment in the season."

On the overall performance: "I think we were better than Leeds but it's the result that matters.

"When we almost celebrated 3-1, it's one millimetre but I think the last one is the one we cannot accept."

On giving Marco Rose a strong foundation and potentially European football next season: "We will see. But today has been a big disappointment not finishing with three points, but obviously we will try and finish as high as we can."

  16. 'I cannot accept the Leeds goal'published at 22:41 BST

    FT: Bournemouth 2-2 Leeds

    Bournemouth

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola, speaking to Sky Sports: "It's a difficult one to swallow. Our offside is millimetres but you have to accept the machine. He [Evanilson] is one millimetre ahead of the last defender.

"But the last goal I cannot accept. Joel Piroe is offside, it makes Petro's [Djordje Petrovic] job more difficult. He doesn't see. If you put a wall in front of the keeper, it's offside.

"Two points we lose because of the decision. Piroe makes the save more difficult, there is no discussion. Would he have saved it? I don't know. It makes it more difficult.

"I am not going to discuss the 50-50s, the penalty of Brooksy [David Brooks] but this one I cannot accept because it is two massive points for us.

"I am waiting [for the referee].I am waiting 30 minutes. I will go straight away to talk to him. It doesn't matter but it's offside. You cannot have any benefit from an offside position. How much it affects? It's not a discussion - 0.1% - it's offside.

On decisions impacting their European hopes: "It's very difficult because now we don't have time to recover these two points. At the start of the season they tell you it balances out but this one is very hard because it's a decisive moment of the season and two points for us in the position we are in is massive."

The psychology has changed. Up to now Manchester City have been chasing Arsenal, but now they are level we will see how Manchester City will adapt - or keep the same.

Arsenal might actually want to switch to being the team chasing, It might twist the mentality and be what they need to find that extra piece of motivation.

After months and months of being the hunter, Manchester City are now the hunted at the business end of the season.

What will that do psychologically in the title race?
