David Brooks has been hobbling about for the last couple of minutes after he was caught in a stud-up challenge by Ao Tanaka.

He eventually strides over to Michael Salisbury and shows the referee the marks left by the Japanese midfielder.

From a neutral perspective, you have to look at Scott Parker and think that he has a really good track record of getting teams promoted back at the first time of asking. It’s keeping them up he struggles with. They’d be mad to let him go.

Martin Dubravka has just received treatment after injuring his knee while keeping out Nico O'Reilly's attempt a little earlier.

Dubravka's knee collided with the post while making the save but it looks like he is fine to carry on.

Karl Darlow makes the first save of the night. If you can call it that.

Adrien Truffert's cross was cut out but the ball trickles back to the Frenchman and he takes a pop from the edge of the box, but it lacks both the power and direction to cause any sort of trouble for Darlow.

    Chance at both ends.

What a breath of fresh air Rayan Cherki has been for Manchester City.

He's looked hungry and sharp throughout his debut season in the Premier League since a £30m move from Lyon.

And Cherki has been lively at Turf Moor. He has already registered four attempts - two on target.

Think it's fair to say this game hasn't been a thriller so far.

Bournemouth are playing fluid football at times, but neither keeper has had to make a save yet.

    Burnley 0-1 Man City

Manchester City turn it up a notch and win a corner which is whipped into the danger area and Martin Dubravka is forced into a save to keep out Nico O'Reilly's header which, for one second, looked like it was sneaking in.

Moments later the Burnley keeper gets down to keep out Rayan Cherki's shot.

To pre-empt empty seat criticism, few Burnley fans thought it could be any worse than Kompany’s season, but we’ve managed it. It’s been abject from start to finish, and particularly galling when you see how well Leeds and Sunderland have done. Scott Parker has been lost for months.

    Shamoon Hafez
BBC Sport football reporter at Turf Moor

Considering how tense and nervous Arsenal fans were when their side were top of the table, the Manchester City supporters are polar opposite, enjoying every second of it.

Does that freedom come from knowing City have been there before and know how to get the job done?

Manchester City could have had three or four goals, but Burnley have had their chances. I think Flemming took a touch too many.
