Match Facts
Bournemouth have taken four points from their three Premier League games against Leeds (W1 D1 L1), just one fewer than they have from 12 league games outside the top-flight against the Whites (W1 D2 L9).
Leeds have lost just two of their 15 league games against Bournemouth (W10 D3), though one of those was their only previous away match against them in the Premier League (1-4 in April 2023).
Among teams they’ve faced at least 10 times in their league history, only against Manchester City (4%, 1 win in 23) do Bournemouth have a lower win ratio than against Leeds (13%, 2 wins in 15 games).
Bournemouth have drawn each of their last four Premier League home games; only in September 1962 (5) and April 1967 (6) have they ever drawn more league matches in a row at home. Indeed, in the Premier League, only eight sides have ever had five successive home draws, most recently Burnley from February to March 2021.
Leeds United are unbeaten in their last five away games in the Premier League (W1 D4), their longest run in the competition since going six without defeat from August to October 2001. The Whites are looking to win back-to-back Premier League away games for the first time since April 2022.
Bournemouth haven’t won any of their five Premier League matches against newly promoted teams this season (D4 L1). The last non-newly promoted club to go an entire season without a win against any of the three sides newly promoted to the division were Southampton in 2017-18.
In all competitions, Leeds United are unbeaten in eight away games (W2 D6), with their last two away games seeing them reach their first FA Cup semi-final since 1987 (2-2 vs West Ham in QF, won on pens) and beating Man Utd at Old Trafford in the league for the first time since 1981. Leeds last had a longer away unbeaten run between October 1978 and January 1979 (11).
Leeds manager Daniel Farke has never lost a Premier League game against Bournemouth in three previous meetings (W1 D2) – they are one of only two teams he’s faced but not lost against, along with Brentford (W1 D2).
Junior Kroupi netted the equaliser in the 2-2 draw at Elland Road earlier this season and could be the first teenager to score home and away against Leeds in a Premier League season – the current youngest to do so is Peter Ndlovu in 1992-93 for Coventry (20 years, 72 days).
Both of Leeds United’s away Premier League wins this season have been in games when Noah Okafor has scored (3-1 vs Wolves, 2-1 vs Man Utd), and he’s netted in his last two away appearances, also scoring at Chelsea in February. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has already scored in three in a row away this season, with 2002-03 the last time two different players did so for Leeds (Harry Kewell & Mark Viduka).
