Wycombe and Plymouth played out an entertaining 1-1 draw at Adams Park, with Connor Taylor's header cancelling out Will Evans' first-half strike for the visitors.

The Chairboys hit the bar inside 10 minutes after good wing play from Silko Thomas allowed Jamie Mullins to drive on from distance but goalkeeper Murphy Cooper was on hand to tip the ball on to his crossbar and away for a corner.

Plymouth went ahead after 25 minutes courtesy of Evans' first goal for the club, a delightful finish on his left foot from inside the box, before he had a second ruled out in first-half stoppage time for offside.

Substitute Cauley Woodrow almost levelled twice not long after play resumed for the second half. His first strike from inside the box was deflected past the far post before he headed wide from eight yards moments later.

Fellow sub Emre Tezgel then had an equaliser ruled out for offside when he turned home a loose Dan Harvie shot that Cooper spilt on the hour mark.

Wanderers finally found the leveller with 14 minutes left when a deep free-kick from Ewan Henderson saw Taylor head home at the back post.
