Rangers stayed in touch with SWPL leaders Hearts by defeating Partick Thistle.

Teenagers Laura Berry and Mia McAulay scored either side of 20-year-old Jodi McLeary's magnificent strike and Leanne Crichton's side finished Sunday four points off Hearts and three above Glasgow City with two games to play.

Crichton would have been much more pleased with her side’s professional performance against Thistle, unlike their showing in last weekend's Scottish Cup semi-final win over Montrose.

For Thistle, who are still searching for their first post-split win, they can once again be proud of their effort against a full-time side littered with internationals and quality.
