Tegan Bowie and Eilidh Adams were on the scoresheet for Hibs
Glasgow City's hopes of a league-cup double were extinguished after Tegan Bowie's 93rd-minute winner sealed victory for Hibernian and ended City's run in the title-race.
The reigning champions were two goals to the good at the break thanks to goals from Scotland strikers Eilidh Adams and Kathleen McGovern.
Adams beat international team-mate Lee Gibson from the spot before McGovern showed great composure to find the top corner.
Leanne Ross' League Cup winners, who suffered Scottish Cup semi-final heartbreak last weekend, were not going down without a fight though, and fought back level before the hour mark.
Half-time substitutes Abi Harrison and Codie Thomas made the desired impact, as the serial winners pegged back Joelle Murray's side.
But, a late roll of the dice from Murray herself was rewarded. Part of a triple change with one minute of regular time remaining, Bowie entered the fray before finding the net with a cool strike to sink City.
