Di Queen of Warri Kingdom tell BBC News Pidgin say belle dey sweet her say she marry di king sake of say im be beta human being and e get good mind for pipo.

"Di tin wey I like pass about say I marry His Majesty or di fame or di popularity wey im get, na say I get to see as di world dey celebrate im genius, im swag also becos me too I dey celebrate am, wen di world dey celebrate am e dey ginger me more you know.

"I dey extremely proud of am as pesin wey im be, as human being and to see say society dey also appreciate am dey give me much joy."

She add say even though di fame and popularity and how pipo dey celebrate her husband dey sweet her, e still get im own challenges.

One of di challenges wey she tok about na say di king dey busy well-well and she no dey get enuf time to spend wit am.

"Dem tok say food wey sweet flies dey like to chop from am so, di sharing of time sometimes, sometimes e dey busy, e dey hard to want share, share dat time, share my husband wit all di many different duties wey im get and so e dey equally difficult, now we dey learn how to manage am, I just want am for mysef, you understand."

"First of all, His Majesty no go fit change im mind about polygamy make we just settle dat one for dia. Me alone, one me, I be like three women so I dey alright for am."

Di queen wey her turban and headgear dey generate tok-tok online tell BBC News Pidgin say she no dey carry last for dressing and her role as queen of Warri Kingdom no dey restrict her dressing in any way.

"My dressing na how I like am oh, most pipo dey ask me say why I dey cova my hair? My turban na my crown na so I dey see am, so anytime I dey in Queen mode I like to dey cova my hair to just give respect to di office wey I get, and I no feel say I dey restricted - you don see my style? I no dey restricted at all."

'Our internal barriers na wetin I feel say dey stop us'

Nigeria dey election season as 2027 polls dey around di corner, and di Queen don advise Nigerian women wey dey interested in politics to chook leg inside even though she no get interest to join politics.

"No! I no get plan to enta politics o, I no get plan to enta politics, I dey okay wia I dey for now, e dey good for me," Olori tell BBC News Pidgin as she dey laugh.

She explain say women fit lead and oda women for example market women and odas for different sectors fit support di ones wey wan join politics.

"Women fit no be di best leaders but dem go lead differently."

She say women no only dey good for political campaign and mobilisation, dem fit contest and win election too, di most important tin na make dem believe say dem fit do am.

Olori Atuwatse III dey use 'Elevate Africa' to change di narrative of African women and unite African nations to positively challenge di identity crisis wey di continent get.

"Dem dey tok say Africa get identify crisis so Elevate Africa dey exist to correct dat identity crisis, to say Africa you no be nonsense, you be giant, you be source and so we dey train our fellows make dem engage for dat kain narrative transformation and carry am go di sectors wey dem dey lead."

She tok about di systemic and internal barriers wey di girlchild and women dey face for Africa.

"Dis impression dey say woman no suppose dey out dia, she suppose dey inside, dey kitchen, suppose marry, but dem be some external barriers.

"Also internally, di story wey dem bin don dey tell about di girlchild and even to woman na say you no dey enuf, you no dey good enuf, wait for your turn, wait first. But our internal barriers na wetin me I feel say dey stop us pass even di oda barriers wey dey outside like lack of funding, lack of belief or societal impressions.

"Di lack of self-belief wey African women get na wetin by God's grace God go empower me to break and we dey do am for Warri Kingdom," she tok.

Poor educational infrastructure for Niger Delta

Concerning educational infrastructure for riverine communities for di Niger Delta region wey get as e be, Olori Atuwatse say di condition of primary and secondary schools no good at all.

She lament how bad di tin be especially school for Bobi Community for Warri Kingdom and how belle pain her wen she see di school.

"Di classroom wey dem say na functional classroom dem dey use am take grow seedlings inside, dat na wia di children dey learn. Di oda classrooms, mucous, evritin dey di wall, one classroom di roof don fall inside. I just be like, how children fit come hia, children dey go school for hia? Teachers wen dem come dem no dey encouraged to stay becos teachers no get place to stay."

She add: "His Majesty and I we don make pledge to visit and renovate at least two schools a year for our communities.

Olori Atuwatse III say education na treasure and as mama of Warri Kingdom she dey reason for di future of di kingdom, for di future of di Niger Delta make e beta pass as e be.
