Tomorrow will be overcast in Shetland and largely cloudy in Orkney. Elsewhere, it will be sunny and very warm once early low cloud clears, although some patches may linger in the far east later.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday

Friday will remain largely dry, however, cloud will spread in from the north, bringing variable cloud for most. It should be a brighter day in the south-west, however. Saturday is expected to be cloudy across the north, with a few patches of light rain or drizzle. The south will be dry with sunny spells and cloudy intervals. Sunday looks to be partly cloudy and generally dry.
