On Monday, the Isles will be mostly dry with variable cloud. The mainland, after some sunny spells to start, will turn increasingly cloudy as the day progresses, with rain arriving in the afternoon. Unsettled with showers on Tuesday and Wednesday, these frequent on the mainland, where these could turn heavy and thundery in the afternoon.
