Derry go top after Brandywell win
Mark Farren
Derry's Mark Farren had two first half chances
Derry City are top of the Eircom Premier Division after a last-gasp 1-0 victory over Longford Town at the Brandywell on Tuesday night.

Substitute Stephen O'Flynn was the City hero after he fired home with just three minutes left.

It was a game of few chances although Candystripes forward Mark Farren twice went close in the first half.

Longford's best opportunity fell to Dessie Baker on 35 minutes but he shot over when well placed.
